Privacy Policy
Effective 19 June 2026
The short version
Baseframe Labs is built to respect you. This website sets no tracking cookies and shows no ads, and the only measurement we run is privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that counts visits in aggregate. If you sign up for product updates, we store your email and the products you chose so we can send them, and you can change or stop that anytime.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Baseframe Labs website at www.baseframelabs.com. Each product has its own privacy practices, described on its own site or App Store listing. Where an app processes your data, that app’s policy governs it, not this one.
Who is responsible
Baseframe Labs, an independent studio operated by Abhi Yoheswaran, is the data controller for this website. For anything in this policy, or to exercise a right below, email support@baseframelabs.com.
What we collect
We measure traffic with privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that counts page views and visits in aggregate. It uses no cookies, no device fingerprinting, no persistent identifiers, and no cross-site tracking, and it cannot identify you. We do not try to identify you either.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to serve pages and protect against abuse. We do not use it for analytics or marketing, and we never sell it.
Email updates
When you sign up to hear about new products and releases, we store the email address you enter and the products you chose to follow, and we send you a short confirmation. You get an email from us only when you ask for one (a confirmation or a preferences link) or when we send an update you opted into. We never share or sell your address.
We run these emails through Resend, our email provider, which stores your contact record and delivers the messages for us as our processor, under its own terms.
You stay in control. Every email carries a link to change which products you hear about or to unsubscribe completely, and you can reach the same controls at www.baseframelabs.com/manage. Unsubscribing removes your subscription.
Legal basis
Where the limited data described above is personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and the equivalent basis under the Swiss FADP) in understanding aggregate traffic and keeping the site secure and available. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and there is no automated decision-making.
If you sign up for email updates, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and the equivalent under the Swiss FADP). You can withdraw it anytime by unsubscribing, which does not affect anything we sent before.
How long we keep data
The analytics are aggregate and not tied to you, so there is nothing personal to keep. Request logs held by our hosting provider are short-lived and retained only as long as needed for delivery and security. Any email you send us is kept only for as long as it takes to handle your message.
If you subscribe to updates, we keep your email address and your product choices until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, then we remove your subscription.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why you do not see a cookie banner. One small thing stays on your device: if you switch between light and dark mode, your preference is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. That value lives only on your device and is never sent to us.
The apps
Most Baseframe Labs apps are local-first and private by design. Several, including SparkPath, TokenTrace, and Nightmark, keep your data on your device with no account required. For the specifics, see each app’s own privacy information.
External links
This site links to external services such as GitHub, the App Store, and individual product sites. Once you follow a link, that destination’s privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the practices of sites we link to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Swiss FADP you can ask to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data, to restrict it, and, where it applies, to receive it in a portable form. Because this website collects almost no personal data, there is usually little to act on, but if you have written to us or have any request, get in touch and we will help.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU or EEA, your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it here and revise the effective date above. Anything material will be obvious on this page.
